The best quiche I have ever had. It came with a massive salad (which surprised me) and ended up being a huge meal. The latte made the meal a perfect 10/10!

My experience at Vincent French Bakery was very good, though it threw me for a bit of a loop based on what I expected. Looking at the website and reviews, I anticipated a strictly traditional French boulangerie and pâtisserie. While the food is delicious, the menu seems to have a unique local twist. Brie and Ham Baguette: The bread itself was incredibly fresh with a great crust, though the crumb could have used just a pinch more salt. The sandwich came with a side of potato salad that felt right out of a classic deli. It was a tasty combination, just a bit of an unexpected pairing for a French bakery. Beef Bourguignon Pie: The filling had a very deep, robust red wine flavor. While tasty, the wine profile was dominant, and I personally would have preferred a bit more balance with more traditional stew vegetables like carrots and mushrooms. Like the baguette, the filling was just a touch under-salted, but the beef itself was high quality. The Pastry & Coffee: Croissant: This was the absolute standout. You can judge a pastry chef with nothing more than a croissant so how about a Matcha Croissant! There are pastries that satisfy and pastries that stop you in your tracks. Vincent's matcha croissant is firmly, emphatically in the second category. I have eaten my way through serious bakeries all over and spent time in Europe absorbing what the French boulangerie tradition looks and tastes like at its finest, and what Vincent's is producing here in Boca Raton is not a pale imitation of that tradition — it is a genuine, fully realized, technically accomplished expression of it. This is a bakery operating at a level that would earn respect anywhere in the world. The croissant arrives dusted in a fine snow of powdered sugar, its deep forest-green laminated layers catching the light in alternating bands of jade and caramelized gold. The color alone signals immediately that something is different here. The matcha has been incorporated directly into the dough itself — the détrempe — rather than painted on as a wash, stirred in as a paste, or added as an afterthought. Vincent’s is a family owned business with the best French pastries and croissants. They make all their breads in house. I must say, their croissants are as good as if you were transported to France. They’re flakey, buttery, and all around perfect. The people that work here are all very nice and accommodating. They’re closed in Monday’s. If you’re lucky enough to visit Friday Saturday or Sunday you MUST try the raspberry and vanilla croissant or the strawberry cream. They’re not too sweet. The strawberry cream tastes like a parfait. Highly recommend. Also, the turkey, egg and Brie is delicious. With a little bit of hot sauce, it’s the best sandwich on the menu. All the lattes and teas are fantastic. You can’t go wrong with anything here!!!

I tried the lemon tart and the chocolate croissant, and both were absolutely delicious. The lemon meringue was perfectly balanced, not too sweet, not too tart and tasted incredibly fresh. The chocolate croissant was flaky, buttery, and filled with rich chocolate. You can truly taste the authenticity in every bite. Friendly service and amazing quality. Pro tip: if you really want something, don’t wait—once they sell out, you’ll have to come back the next day.
